Every pilgrim from the Czech Republic registered through travel agencies preparing the pilgrimage with the dioceses of Bohemia, Moravia, and Silesia (Avetour, Awear, CK Křížek, Miklastour, Palomino, and Voma) will receive what is called a pilgrimage package, which will include, among other things, special identification (classification) of the pilgrim.
The travel agencies that organize the pilgrimage to Rome must submit a list of all participants and group leaders, as required by the Vatican dicastery, and pay a fee of CZK 750 per pilgrim by January 15, 2025. This amount is divided into two halves; the first part is the pilgrim's contribution to a gift for the Holy Father for the poor, while the second part will cover fees in the basilicas and other necessary organizational expenses.
Since the allowed capacity of one extraordinary group from the Czech Republic is already fully booked, the pilgrimage committee can no longer provide pilgrimage packages for other interested parties who would like to join the national pilgrimage. However, they can contact the pilgrimage committee for information about the possibility of individual registration of individuals or groups (up to a maximum of 60 people) at the Roman dicastery to pass through the Holy Doors.
